Join us on Sept 14th from 2-4pm at the Redwood Playhouse in Garberville to hear from UC Berkeley's Cannabis Research Center researchers on a recent survey of cannabis cultivators and research on water use in cannabis production.
Based on hundreds of responses throughout California, the survey assessed cultivators' experiences with and perspectives on regulations. What encourages or discourages cultivators participation in governmental regulatory systems? How do regulations affect farming and environmental practices?
Also, hear about what UC researchers have learned about water use for cannabis production. Using three seasons of water use data from the North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board, researchers asked:
